I'm a Pilates teacher, and for short clients, I need a 12" magic circle. Very few 12" ones are made, so the prices are very high compared to those for the 14" ones. I would not have paid Merrithew's usual price for this, but I found it on amazon for about $15, so grabbed it. My only complaint is that the padded area is really designed to accommodate adduction work (bringing arms and legs closer together) rather than abduction work.I like this alot but I haven't been able to use it as much as I want to. It's easy to store, without taking up any space, and light weight. I'm a very active senior, and like to keep working my body even when sitting so this item is perfect along with small dumbbells.I had bought one of the story ones years ago and it was really high quality but lent it to a friend and never got it back.. lol. I didn’t realize it was plastic. It works okay. The handles could be padded a little more. I think I’d spend more and get a metal one.Me gustó mucho el producto, estoy satisfecha con la compra porque es justamente lo que necesitaba, definitivamente lo recomiendo!Bought this for kid, but it's hard to push even for a grown-up.Great, bought 3 of the circle for my friends and myself. It was used in the dance school of my friend's daughter. I used it to tone my legs and there are plenty of videos on YouTube that you can refer to.I like the project but I like the resistance of "normal" circles betterThe metal is much wider than I thought. It's uncomfortable to hold. So I sent it back.I’m a Pilates instructor and one of my students is vertically challenged, making the regular Pilates circle out of proportion for her. This allows her to use the magic circle to help her engage her powerhouse without pushing her out of alignment and hurting her joints. It is very strong compared to the £5.99 magic circles from eBay the rest of the class have, so I’m sure it’s doing her the world of good. ;)I did review many of these before making a purchase. Think I bought the best for the price. Only downside it does hurt the knees a bit so a bit more padding in that area would have been nice.I picked this ring because it's a good size for my height and I'm impressive by how sturdy it isI use this mainly for injury rehab exercises; i.e., they are gentler exercises. This product works great for my purposes. It's well priced compared to the heavier exercise circles. The lighter frame and weight also makes it ideal for travelling.Great piece of equipment to add to my daily routine. Well worth the $
